"CEASEFIRE NOW!" PROTEST AGAINST ISRAEL
March from Hyde Park to Westminster, London, England, 5 August 2006
Up to 100,000 protestors (claimed by Stop The War) from all over Britain marched today to protest Israel's campaign against Hezbollah. This has been the largest protest organised by Stop The War Coalition thusfar, drawing unprecedented numbers of British Hezbollah supporters to London. Largely peaceful, there were some scuffles with the police at the American Embassy, and people have been arrested at Downing Street for throwing shoes and eggs at the gates.
Hezbollah flags in front of the Big Ben. In previous marches, Lebanese flags far outnumbered Hezbollah flags, but the ratio is rapidly shrinking. Hezbollah flags are becoming more popular, more visible and more readily available in England.
British Muslims chant: "Hezbollah! Hezbollah! We are all Hezbollah!"
Pictures detailing the aftermath of the controversial (and hotly debated) Qana airstrike. One of the photographers of Qana, Adnan Hajj, has been caught out doctoring news images, and subsequently fired by Reuters.
Above is more chanting:
Arabic: Khaibar, Khaibar Ya Yahood, Jaish Muhammad sawfa ya'ood!
Translation: Khaibar, Khaibar Oh Jew, the army of Mohammed will return!
Explanation: Khaibar was a Jewish city in Arabia. It was conquered by Mohammed during the rise of Islam in 628, and its population slaughtered.

George Galloway shares a laugh with Anas Altikriti at the front of the march. Galloway was one of the speakers at Parliament Square, and his speech can be seen in this video clip:
